Recently, a devastating storm hit our community, causing significant damage to our pavilion. This space is not just a building—it's the heart of our activities, where we hold events, community gatherings, and sporting initiatives that bring together children, young people, and families.

Now, more than ever, we need your help to restore this place that means so much to all of us. We are launching a fundraising campaign to rebuild the pavilion and ensure it remains a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

Every amount makes a difference. Each contribution brings us closer to reconstruction.

This money will be used to rebuild the pavilion, replace damaged equipment, and ensure that the pavilion is safe for all users.

About the author

Rebuilding Our Pavilion: 40 Years of History, 25 Years of National Futsal and Basketball

Our pavilion is not just a building — it's the heart of our community. For 40 years , it has been the stage for unforgettable moments, celebrating victories, friendship, and a passion for sport. For the last 25 years, it has been a landmark of national futsal, with 17 years in the 2nd National Division, perhaps the club with the most years in the National Futsal league , hosting championships and developing talents who now shine on the courts. Furthermore, basketball has found a home here, with around 200 athletes , including children and young people, learning, competing, and building memories that last a lifetime.

Recently, a devastating storm severely damaged the pavilion, threatening not only its structure but also decades of history, achievements, and unique moments.

We are the Amarense Recreational Association, a local organization with 59 years of dedication to sport and the community. We follow every training session, every game, and every victory, and we know that with your help we can restore the life and energy that the pavilion represents.

What's at stake:

  • The first victories of children and young people in futsal and basketball.
  • Games and championships that brought families and the entire community together.
  • The legacy of 25 years of national futsal, the passion for basketball, and 40 years of stories that deserve to be preserved.

Budget and due dates

The construction phases of our pavilion will depend mainly on the timing of the funds raised.

Phase 1 – Removal of debris from the old pavilion (in progress)

Phase 2 – Excavation and structural planning

Phase 3 – Foundation and main structure

Phase 4 – Roofing and Enclosures

Phase 6 – Construction of the Spa, Medical Offices and Various Rooms.

Phase 7 – Construction of Benches

Phase 8 – Interior installations and finishing touches

Phase 9 - Installation of the Sports Flooring

Phase 10 – Exterior finishes and surrounding area
