Collaborative project to install ping pong tables and board games, promoting physical activity, socialization and healthy use of free time, reinforcing the Physical Education curriculum and community engagement.

The storm destroyed the sports equipment at the school.

There is no equipment in the school or the community for students to practice sports or engage in activities.

The project to install 4 outdoor tables to promote table tennis at the school originated as a student proposal. In the current context, the use of mobile phones is prohibited on school grounds, making it urgent to provide young people with healthy, outdoor alternatives.

Outdoor equipment for table tennis offers an opportunity to promote the sport and allow students to find outdoor spaces that provide them with socialization through sports and healthy competition.

Promoting table tennis would make it easier to attract young people to the sport, thus increasing the number of participants in school sports programs.

The availability of equipment outdoors broadens the possibilities for integrating this sport into the Physical Education curriculum, improving the conditions for teachers to develop the curriculum.

The equipment for playing table tennis, when placed outdoors, allows access to students and the community during school breaks, facilitating a full and healthy use of free time.

The practice of chess and other board games has gained popularity at the school. We intend to equip the school space with tables for playing board games.
