Caxarias Multipurpose Center - Health Center

"Bringing health" to the health center: We will restore the entire panel structure of the Caxarias multi-purpose building.

"Bringing health" to the health center: We will restore the entire panel structure of the Caxarias multi-purpose building.

During Storm Kristin, the effects caused the destruction of part of the roof of the Caxarias multi-purpose health center building, mainly affecting elements installed on the roof, specifically equipment and technical systems located there. Specifically, damage was observed to photovoltaic panels and their support structures, outdoor air handling units, ventilation/air conditioning system ducts, and DHW panels, as well as associated components, creating problems for doctors, medical assistants, operational assistants, and users who use this health facility daily.

In terms of strategic priorities, it falls under the following categories:

Equipment, health services and community care.

This infrastructure is a municipal space where the Caxarias parish council and the Caxarias Local Health Unit operate, ensuring a local service in that town.

This facility ensures a response for the entire population of Caxarias, both in administrative terms and in terms of local healthcare.

The beneficiaries of this intervention are all users of the health center and the parish council. This refurbishment will restore normal operations.
