The way to happiness - Rehabilitation of Farm Silvares

A help to start up an orchard of regional varieties of apple trees and infrastructure for the farm animals.

It's been one year since our lives have given around 180 degrees.

After 12 months of incessant search exchanged the bustling city of Porto for a quiet and beautiful town of Vizela. Let the hours lost in traffic, the famous stress, anxiety, routine jobs confined within four walls, lack of time to raise and educate our children.

In March 2014 we rented the Diocese of Porto land and we started the rehabilitation project of the farmhouse has about 200 years.

Quinta de Silvares is a fruit and vegetable farm 3.5 hectares using as production to certified Organic Agriculture (No. B / 25/2015 Naturalfa). We believe we can learn a lot with nature and inspired her create solutions for an efficient and economically viable production system, respecting the natural cycles and feeding biodiversity.

A Susana é natural do Porto, formada em Gestão de Recursos Humanos e Psicologia do Trabalho, tendo trabalhado sempre na área financeira, mas a agricultura sempre a acompanhou como hobbie. Em 2012 depois de realizar um PDC - Pemaculture Desing Course na Fundação de Serralves resolveu deixar a cidade e estagiar na área da agricultura.

O Paulo natural do Porto, formado em Gestão de Empresas foi durante 15 anos bancário. Nos últimos anos também tinha a agricultura como hobbie e em 2013 realizou formação em agricultura Biologica e Gestão Agrícola.

Estando cada vez mais certos que este era o nosso caminho, em 2014 mudamo-nos com a familia para a Quinta de Silvares em Vizela. ubmitted in 2014.

Susana was born in Porto, formed in Human Resource Management and Work Psychology, having always worked in the financial area, but always accompanied agriculture as a hobby. In 2012 after performing a PDC - Pemaculture Desing Course at the Serralves Foundation decided to leave the city and internship in the field of agriculture.

The natural Paulo from Porto, graduated in Business Management was over 15 years banking. In recent years also had agriculture as a hobby and in 2013 conducted training in Biological and Agricultural Management agriculture.

Being increasingly certain that this was our way, in 2014 we moved with his family to the Quinta de Silvares in Vizela.

Budget and due dates

These 2500€ we requested will be used as a help for get the the orchard installation project (1 hectare installed in January 2016) and to create infrastructure for the animals.
