Livros de Ontem is pleased to present "Messages",a book with text and Francisco Capelo illustrations.

Synopsis

Surrealistic characters, geometric shapes, new and strange symbols, long shadows and deep vanishing points in always challenging perspectives.

So are the author's drawings.

Crossed thoughts, inner feelings, other voices in an elliptical vortex that leads us to dream.

So are his poems.

The combination of these two art forms results in unique visual magic.

A "Journey to the end of the night," a breath of inexhaustible life.

About the author

Francisco Capelo is a visual artist, writer, and a degree in Sociology of 43 years.

With a varied training (including Web Design and Graphic Design), studied linguistics, wrote books on the society, the media and articles on religion, paradigms of science and culture and also created a unique style in drawing and painting.

Its design in black and white has received unanimous praise, both by other artists and the public in general.

Also his poetry - developed over seven years and dropped from that time - shows a rare emotional domain that is urgent to rediscover.

Budget and due dates

Through Crowdpublishing, Livros de Ontem has the opportunity to develop the work of new authors, risk new concepts and improve writers remuneration.

Thus, Livros de Ontem publishing house does not make any direct profit from Crowdpublishing campaigns. All funds raised are intended to the production of books and improving the sustainability of our operation.
