A human being who wakes up in the bed of his own dream will dream forever. An experimental and surrealist essay on the human subconscious.
A woman finds herself faced with a labyrinth of her own dreams, taking her on a journey in which she is confronted with entities and situations arising from her subconscious. Cornered, she is forced to look for a way out of her own world.
We intend with this essay, a reflection on being, an attempt to make an allegory the loss of identity in favor of its renewal. In other words, a deconstruction and reconstruction of identity, in this case, in a labyrinthine mind inserted in the surreal world of its own subconscious.
This project appears in early 2020, the Final Project of the Cinema course at the University of Beira Interior. This experimental short film conceptualized by our director Hugo Alves, faced several adversities with the growing progress of the Covid-19 pandemic, namely, its consequent restrictions for audiovisual production. The project had to be put aside while we anxiously awaited the moment to get back at it. Now, two years later, we finally have the chance to make it happen and we ask for your support to make it a reality.

About the author
After almost two years, a committed and focused team came together to make this short film come to fruition. We are a small team, most of them licensed, and one who is currently in his Masters in Cinema. This project is an indicator of our passion. We were always given the option of not making this film (due to the pandemic situation) and since we all ended up completing our degree, nothing compromised our degree. But above having a graduate status, there is our passion for making films, because like all the arts, cinema makes people reflect and also feel. And for that reason, we believe that this production has everything it takes to be a success and travel through the most recognized film festival circuits in Portugal.

Budget and due dates
The shooting of this film is scheduled to begin in mid-June, but for that, your help is crucial. For this film to happen, like any film production, we need a lot of resources. It's a race against time and your help makes the difference.
