We are a group of citizens who, sensitive to the current pandemic situation that we are experiencing all over the world and, in particular, in the Douro region, in conjunction with the institutions of the region, we intend to launch a Donation Raising program in order to enable the carrying out Covid-19 tests on users and employees of nursing homes in the municipality of Santa Marta de Penaguião.
The current situation that has been plaguing the world and particularly the worrying scenario that Nursing Homes face, due to the lack of Covid-19 testing, led us to launch this campaign.
We intend to help all those who contributed a lot to the DOURO HISTORICAL HERITAGE, our Seniors. But those who were heroes today are the most fragile.
It is to look at the past that the future is built, if we are what we are, we owe it to those who in the past fought for us, we are what we are for the love that someone in the past dedicated to us, we are what we are because someone in the past has transmitted us knowledge, we are what we are because we are HERE TO HELP.

Budget and due dates
Our project is developed in 2 phases between the 1st Phase: Research, Fundraising / Distribution and 2nd Phase: Execution.
The 1st Phase includes the steps: Research - This phase is intended for signaling and attracting potential institutions, companies and citizens who may contribute monetarily to the project. The subsequent phase concerns Raising / Distribution. Here we intend to collect the amount necessary to fully implement the initiative and distribute it to the different Homes for the Third Age in the municipality of Santa Marta de Penaguião according to equity / necessity criteria.
The 2nd Phase concerns the execution, here it is intended to carry out the Covid-19 tests in collaboration with accredited entities. We intend to promote tests to users and employees of Homes in conditions of good practices and safety.
