Imagine having hundreds of recipes in one place and being able to create your menus and generate shopping lists? This will be possible with our app!

• O comida de bebé is a website that aims to democratize food introduction, making up-to-date information from reliable sources available to all mothers, fathers and caregivers completely free of charge.
• Our app (in IOS and Android) makes access to this information much easier, in addition to allowing new features that will help families even more. Organizing meals, saving money and reducing food waste.
• In addition, the food introduction course will be transferred to the app, facilitating the consultation of content and allowing for new features.
• Finally, the app also intends to become a space where mothers can earn money creating content or promoting their businesses (related to food and recipes or any area of child health).
• All the money generated in this crowdfunding will be used to pay for the development of the application.

About the author

My name is Carolina and I am the founder of the website comidadebebe.pt and the mother of two young children. Comida de Bebé was created just 2 years ago and is already one of the biggest baby food websites in Portugal, having helped thousands of families to (better) feed their babies! These are some of my tasks:

- Development of nutritious and easy-to-make recipes and adaptation for babies.

- Scientific research linked to the area of food introduction and infant feeding and sharing of up-to-date information and reliable sources completely free of charge.

- Activism in the area of healthy eating in day care centers in Portugal, with the launch of a petition with more than 15 thousand signatures and subsequent hearing in the Assembly of the Republic.

- In addition, I share a lot of our daily lives on our social networks!

Budget and due dates

All the value generated in this campaign will be invested in the development of the application (20,000 euros for the development of the application + 2,000 for the creation of content for the app, such as food introduction articles and videos about food cuts). The application will start to be developed at the end of February / beginning of March and the development will last from 60 to 90 days. We are confident that the application will be launched in May 2023.
