Headhuntr is an app with a set of games that allow the formation of a profile of the user regarding a group of metrics, that then can be matched with the one desired by a firm in a job offer,
How did the idea come about?
The idea for Headhuntr came 15 minutes before a presentation for a Spanish class in which a group of 3 students would have to talk about a business idea they had. A badly crafted idea that would fall into oblivion ended up receiving positive feedback from a strategy teacher who attended the class, who encouraged us to develop the idea (otherwise he would do so) and whose support culminated in the participation of the group in the entrepreneurship event BET24.
Context of the idea
Nowadays, companies have never invested so much in recruitment processes. The need to find the right person for the job makes companies spend millions of dollars annually to minimize the risk of "casting errors." However, there are several factors that make these processes complex:
Resumes of candidates increasingly similar to the level of academic performance and extra-curricular experiences
The priority that is often given to academic performance, despite the greater relevance of soft skills
Many companies - large or SMEs - find it difficult to even have access to a talented base of candidates to fill the positions they have available.
The need for a more innovative strategy of interaction and communication of job offers with Millennials .
A Headhuntr
Headhuntr would be a solution to respond to many of these challenges. An app that would gather a set of games through which it would be possible to draw a psychometric profile of the user and match it with the profile desired by a company for a certain position. The users' information would be private and only visible to possible employees if authorization given by the user would be intermediated by the management of the platform. Thus, it would be a complementary channel in the recruitment processes that would increase their efficiency without significant marginal costs for companies.
