Hello there! We are a small team of 6 students of pharmaceutical sciences who decided to live the adventure of organizing an exchange with Croatia. The idea is to organize an educational plan about our area (lectures, visits to relevant entities ...), associated to a cultural plan (in order to show what Portugal has the best: food, music, monuments ...)
What is the challenge?
Well, we must organize the entire project and have only the personal expense of investing in flights. That said, we will have to arrange funding for accommodation, food and transport in Lisbon for the Croatians, who will do the same for us when we visit them. This whole idea came from a joke among friends and we have been working on this project since last year. So far we have been able to find interesting partnerships in logistics and food, but we need help to ensure the accommodation for the Croatians. Therefore, we have developed a complete rewards plan so that you can help us raise funds for our project and, at the same time, have the opportunity to participate in this extraordinary initiative. We count on you!

About the author
Daniela Danu - is responsible for the commercial department. She is our negotiator who guarantees the project's partnerships at logistic support level. Much of what we already have was thanks to her dedication and persistence.
António Silvestre - the only guy on the team (I do not know how he supports us), has the responsibility to organize our cultural and social plan. Thanks to him we will make a wonderful journey through Lisbon and Sintra and share the Portuguese culture with the Croatians.
Beatriz da Branca - she is responsible for our educational plan. She was the one who idealized our program so that it would be educational and captivating for the Croatians. She will be responsible for contacting the speakers and ensuring our visits to pharmaceutical entities.
Margarida Pereira - she does not see problems, she sees solutions! Margarida is responsible for the logistics department. She puts our fund-raising events rolling and she foresees the difficulties we will have when we receive the Croatians, so we can solve them in a timely manner.
Mariana Godinho - has the responsibility to put the world to know about us. It's Mariana who manages our social networks and who produces all our multimedia material, she is good, right?
Kateline Cardoso - well and then there is me, I'm the coordinator of this project. I have thea responsibility to coordinate the team, make decisions, (often outside of my comfort zone) and anticipate the challenges that we will have to face. Yes, because we will face them, our team has already gone through a lot, however we do not want to give up. We are focused on investing in our knowledge and getting to know another country is undoubtedly an opportunity to bring new ideas to Portugal. Let's do it toghether?

Budget and due dates
We have agreed with the Croatians to receive them in September and we will visit them in October, since the project lasts for 6 days in each country. What is more important in our budget is undoubtedly the accommodation, the cheapest we could find was € 12 per night, which totalizes 480€, as we will receive 8 Croatians for 5 nights. All the financing we can get is welcome, as it can translate into a better quality project, but getting accommodation is the most critical and urgent point.
As for the timing our idea is to organize fundraising events at our university until the end of the semester. We will have our own events and we will join our Student Association to have games in academic parties.
