The project Realizar, will start from scratch.
We have some land available for family, let's use that to them.
On site there is bush, pine trees and a hole.
Initially we buy 100 chicks (indigenous breed), so we can get to 250 hens.
The chicks just went into production at the end of a few months...
The real investment is much more than 10.000€, the amount we are asking 2.000€ is just a start which will help in buying the chicks and start building chicken coops.
The main purpose of holding, in respect to the production of poultry chicks is obtained (to provide other producers) the raising and also the sale of eggs, certified. Autochthonous breeds that will be chosen will be selected by us.
We Will be built a chicken coop with nests for breeding. They will have access to a park outside outdoor considerable size (according to the norms of the MPB (biological production mode). Will be made 3 more shelters to house the fattening birds, which were under the free year and used the existing grasslands as a food supplement. These birds will remain running for different portions on each about 3 to 4 months. After this period a new forage sown in the last portion to be used previously.
The chicks are kept heated until they reach a compartment 1 month of age.
Feeding the birds had settled mainly in corn that will be produced in future exploration (in MPB) and compound feed (certified biological bought locally).
Income from the operation result of the sale of poultry and eggs. Birds and eggs will be sold as such to restaurant and / or individuals, supermarkets, etc, all stakeholders. The remaining product will be used for self-consumption. On sale will be the average 17€ per head and 1.35€ a half dozen eggs.
One objective of the project is to create a regional brand, in order to absorb productions of other local producers and get these encourage in choosing autochthonous breeds.
