"Where do sweets come from?" tells the story of a little boy - Sebastian - who lives in a blue and gray city, where people walk busily only worrying about problems. Until one day, the funniest more colorful and happy family arrives! PI PIIIIII the horn sounds like the ice cream truck! The youngest member of this family is Bitas - a fun girl, full of energy and incredibly full of goodness and love in her heart. Together, they will change the city where they live, they will (re)teach adults to ...
This is a book not only dedicated to children and ideal to read before going to bed and have sweet dreams, but also for parents, adults and grown ups to awaken their inner child and be less blue and grumbling, as the everyday life sometimes makes us.
When I was a little girl, like all children, I loved when my parents read me a story before going to sleep. But after reading and re-reading all hitórias that I had at home, my parents began to create our own stories, which could be molded the way we wanted and that was where the power of imagination began: one world made out of candy, impossible creatures and endless creativity.
The "tradition" to create and tell different stories stuffed with good things every night, passed from me to my younger sister - whose imagination was (and still is!) Endless! I always felt that all children should read stories before going to bed, amusing stories as I heard and helped to create when I was young, stories that pull the creativity and the child that is within us. My inner child never felt assleep, I have never stopped playing with legos, watch cartoons or even continue to imagine stories about worlds where sweets are born out of the most unlikely places.
Now came the opportunity to write a book where this imagination and creativity could be part of. A fun book, easy to read, and with endearing characters.
