SYNOPSIS:
Manel, a dreamy fisherman, and his son, and assiduous Goethe’s reader, find out a filming camera inside a fish. They start to argue with Joaquim, his boss, about the value of that object. This discussion, Manel in an imaginary way and Joaquim in a materialistic way, can be naively compared to a discussion about the importance of cinema, art and way of seeing life.
This is a film thought, out of the University context, by a team constituted by students with a cold budget but turned-on to create.
It is going to be filmed in Cova do Vapor, a fishing village, near Costa da Caparica (Portugal) – which appears in the video above. Thanks to the kindness of the people that live there, we have ensured the most important things: the scenic set, two boats, a pedicab, private kitchen and a lot of figurants.
We’re happy por make this project done and will send it as a short-film to Cinema Festivals.
