Campaign for tranlating and launchin in Portugal the documentary "Montessori, Let the Child be the Guide", from the cinematographic director Alexandre M., who felt in love with the Montessori Method in his way as a young father looking for answers.
As a young father, watching his daughter go through her life experiences, the film director Alexandre Mourot discovered Montessori and decided to set his camera up in a Children’s House (Montessori room from 3 to 6 years) in the oldest Montessori school in France.
Alexandre was warmly welcomed in a surprisingly calm and peaceful environment, ehere children moved freely and chose to work in the most diverse activities available, alone or in group, guided by an extremely discreet and observant teacher.
The children guided the film director throughout the whole school year, helping him to understand the magic of their autonomy and self-esteem – the seeds of a new society of peace and freedom, which Maria Montessori dedicated her life work to.
