Would be so cool tha have this Mini

In 1975, my mother bought a Mini. I rediscover it last year. I believe that this platform will help me so that my mother can drive, at least once more, the one that was her car. Do you help me to fulfill this wish?

It was a hot summer that year. For the temperatures, but also for the political environment. The revolution had been a little more than a year and Portugal was waiting for the first free elections that would only take place in April 1976. That year, that summer, the Prime Minister Vasco Gonçalves decided to give retroactively generous increases to all civil servants. A decision that allowed my mother to finally have her first dear. A Mini, of course.
Advertising was also a concept of pure discovery and, if I'm not mistaken, also dates from this time the famous slogan "It's so cool to have a Mini". And so cool it was.
The Mini, with the AT-14-73 license plate, bought at a Porto stand with a few days, was an epic car. He was searched by the Copcon troops on one of the Lisbon entrances (Calçada de Carriche), descended stairs in Braga, was robbed several times in his winks in the garage of the house by some kids who liked the orange tones of the material, was almost bathing on the beach in Ericeira, hit and was beaten. All resisted! It was a tank !!!

The Mini was in the family for long years until my parents decided to sell it. A bad trade, if I remember correctly. My parents trade what would be a future classic for a Mini Metro, which was never the same. Like when we fall into the trap of thinking it's a good idea to invite the drunken friend to the formal dinner at home just because he says some fun jokes when he is wasted.

The years passed and the memory of the car still remains. Fate made me get in touch with the car. It was in Faro and I agreed with the owner if, when he wanted to sell it, he would inform me.
That phone call has now arrived. The desire to have the car keeps on, but the money doesn´t. And that´s why my call on this crowdfunding platform. My father does not believe that it is possible but I think my mother has the secret hope of driving, at least once more, the one that  was her car. Do you help me to fulfill this wish?

About myself? I am a dreamer, pragmatic, who believes that the best of people is always the one we do not see in the first phase. Professionally, I work in the areas of communication and marketing. Personally, I am a family person, who lives for my (people and animals) who I adore and to whom I dedicate my energies. I really wish I could have this car back in the family. It was an important milestone. I know that time does not go back, but we can dream about it ... What else to say? Those who know me know and like. Whoever does not know me is always in time to change it, right? :)

Budget and due dates

The funds raised, to be obtained in full, will be for the payment of the Mini. The seller asks for 7,500 euros for the car and added another 800 euros to cover the respective commissions inherent in having the Crowdfunding proposal on this platform. Any contribution will always be welcome and, if it does not achieve the objective, you will get your money back. So if you are a company or even a private person and you have 500 euros there that you do not know what to do with them, now you know! :)
I would like the campaign to start now / beginning of August and the term would be on October 10, date so that I can, at the limit, pick up the car and have it on October 15th in my hands. The date is obviously symbolic and I know that my mother would also like this nice coincidence.
