The LUMINA Festival of Light takes place between 11 and 13 September in Cascais. In this edition we would like to bring the Compagnie Carabosse to present a high-impact performance in the Cidadela area. The entry to the Festival is free, so we need the support of all to cover creativity expenses of this show that we believe will be in everyone's memory!
The LUMINA - Light Festival is an event dedicated to the art of light, video-mapping, multimedia and interactivity that takes place in the public space of Cascais.
Created and produced by
Ocubo, it presents around 25 pieces from national and international artists, along a pedestrian route of approximately 3kms, located between the city center and the marina.
LUMINA is a free festival, freelly open to the public and directed towards families. The presented pieces have a big participative and interactive component, making LUMINA an innovative cultural project that is inclusive and directed towards all.
In 2015, Lumina will happen from the 11th to the 13th of September and we would be pleased to bring the Compagnie Carabosse to present a show of great impact in the Citadel area. But for this, we need your help. Since the admission to the festival is free of charge, we need everyone's support in order to face the expense of creating this show.
The Cie. Carabosse is a company of street art, composed of a collective of artists (set designers, actors, musicians, visual artists and inventors).
Their shows occupy the public space and are created with large scale instalations, using fire, iron structures and a big scenic, poetic and theatrical component.
The fire installations are presented in a live act, full of movement, poetry and humor, where music and the visual component join together to provide a unique show of great proximity to the public.
