This book came up from a challenge: How to describe the colours to someone who has never been able to see?

Have you ever closed your eyes and tried to walk a few yards without daring to spy? How many steps could you take in relying only on your other senses? But what if you have someone you trust with you? Someone who alerts you of the obstacles and holds your hand during all the way? How far would you be able to go?

Love is not just a feeling. Love is a universal language.

Love is connection. Love is energy.

Love is able to describe a rainbow for someone who has never been able to see.

This book comes to remind us that what makes us different should not be what separates us. On the contrary, we should look at each other through love and see in the differences the beauty of the universe.

What would be the fun of the world if we were all the same?

About the author

My name is Amanda Jus and I'm twenty-eight years old. Communicator by choice and writer by vocation. Sagittarius, with eclectic taste for music, addicted to books, movies and series, but also passionate about trips and meeting with friends.

I've always liked to write, but my texts were usually restricted to the eyes of some friends and family, and no matter how good was the feedback from these people, I've always found it difficult to expose to the world something that I considered so personal.

Today I see that some messages not only deserve, but must be passed on. And it is with this intention that I begin this project of publishing my first book. In the hope of showing other people who, like me, are passionate about the art of writing, that our voice is in our texts and deserves to be heard!

My book "I would like to show you how I see" is an attempt to remind us, in a simple way, that people are beautiful, that they love each other and they can share the most incredible experiences even if they are completely different!

Budget and due dates

The budget was made with the publisher CHIADO BOOKS, from Portugal, and for the book to be published we need to collect until the end of April the minimum value of 500 euros to help with the final cost of publishing around 2000 euros.

The Work will be published in traditional book and e-book formats.

The book will be printed in full color on IOR Paper, in 15x22 format with two types of cover available:

Soft Case (Cromocard 225gr):

The Author undertakes to purchase 200 copies of the book at € 9 each.

Or

Hard Cover (2mm thick Cromocard):

The Author undertakes to purchase 200 copies of the book at € 12 each.

The design of the cover and the pagination will be made in a totally personalized way by our design team.
