Cinderela on wheels

The challenge: telling my story straight to The Point, without restricts, only The truth. Deconstruct myths, destroy labels, promote equality, eliminate barriers. Allow The ones who don t believe in US, let US be ourselves

The book" cinderela on wheels" has about 50 Pages and is going to tell The story of my life. It Will be edited by The Chiado's publisher.

I Was born with a spine problem, i Was a victim of a doctor's mistake and ended up staying in a wheel chair. With All The problems i never gave up following my dreams even With the limitations that life brought to me.

Loosing The ability to Walk, having a house in risk of loosing it... feeling one day in paradise and on The other day loosing everything.

But not everything Was bad or negative, The fact of becaming a photographic model even With my limitations made me see that in life we must always have a positive thinking and believe.

Advised to write a book that could passe this mensage, that could tell without The "sweet talk", without restrictions and must less without The "underdog" image that Was Labelled by society.

A label that start growing and became a wall that grows each day that passes, like a tower that grows around US and made us Stay trapped, away of everything and Everyone, thinking that happiness and All The good thinking like love, work, Friends, freedom, hope,  self esteem there are things that ONLY happened to The others. Is something that is transmited to us when we born so that it can prevent US from getting hurt through our life . I would like to try to passe that strength through my story and be able to help others that have limitations, All of US, since we are born we are preparing ourselves to a limitation that has no cure, oldness. So having this in mind, The main objectives of The book Will make much sense edit it in hearing support.

About the author

My name is Rita Teodoro, i am 36 years old, i m in a wheel chair and i would like to show you The real meaning of "being different", a truth that not always has to BE Tough, sad, can be about fight and glory.

I always wanted to face my life with a smile, i know that sometimes its not easy but if we think that there is always someone that there is in a worse situation, we end up giving more value to The sun that borns every day or just for The fact that we could even wake up.

Through The Journey of my life i dealed with people with handicaps that needed to talk, to learn and to BE advised. All of The people that passed by me, told me that they were inspired by my story, my strength of Living and from The moment that they knew me they wanted to change their livres.

I started to think in this subject and advised by a great lady i decided to write a book about my life. How a "Little girl"  faced The fact of staying in a wheel chair, The loves, The hates, The discriminations, The diseases, The people and The opportunities that passed by her. 

I would be really happy and proud if i could leave this mark. I already had planted a tree unfortunately i couldn t have children so it would be like a Son that grows and could help The Next one.
