I was introduced to the the “Supper-Club” concept some two years ago. Since then, I have been following the activity of similar projects that have arisen in Portugal (some 6-7 in the Lisbon area) and at the same time developing my knowledge of what exists outside this country.
I embraced the idea as soon as I became familiar with the concept, in it I saw an opportunity to share my love for cooking, as well as the chance to meet new people and cultures.
There are many distinct variants within this concept, with names such as “Paladar”, “Restaurante à Porta Fechada”, “Guestaurant”, “Restaurante Underground”, “Anti-Restaurant” or “Pop Up Dinner”. In our case, the meals will be cooked by us and served in our own home.
"Supper-Club" is an international concept that offers the possibility to experience a meal in a family setting, inside a private home.
It also presents the chance for an 'amateur chef' to share his work, and passion for cooking, with the 'new' friends he welcomes into the cozy atmosphere of his own home.
This is definitely an opportunity to relax in a friendly environment, while enjoying a home cooked meal - and all this for a very reasonable price.

You will feel the passion for cooking, but there can be more than the simple pleasure of a meal: there is also the opportunity for pleasant conversation, as spontaneous as would occur in a gathering of friends - quite different from the commercial and detached nature of a common restaurant.
We offer contemporary style cooking, mainly inspired by the mediterranean roots of portuguese gastronomy, and using only the finest natural produce.
All this while always keeping an open mind regarding fusion cuisine.
Our base menu will consist of two entrées, two main dishes, dessert, and the recommended beverages to complete it. This base menu can be fine-tuned to the exact specifications of our guests.
Reservations have to be made in advance, and upon the agreement that there will be adequate compensation for our efforts.
We are pioneers in establishing this concept in Porto, and we will do our utmost to make our guests feel right at home.
Whenever required, we will provide our guests with information regarding both the city of Porto and the Northern region. We will also be open to organizing guided tours of Porto, Gaia (Port Wine Cellars) and the Douro wine region.
