Ocean Life this is the first electric powered boat solar/wind power built in Portugal.
I'm building a research vessel and innovative leisure fully powered renewable energy.
Name of Ocean Life, this is the first electric powered boat solar / wind power built in Portugal. The vessel will have 18 solar panels and 6 gel batteries, and energetically self-sufficient, and does not pollute the original batteries will only be replaced in a few years.
Ocean life takes advantage of all the sun's rays, even on days where it does not appear, is different from all others with a modern, streamlined design with cover, three engines (lets you rotate on its axis), the vessel can be controlled from a distance with remote control and is powered 100% with solar and wind enough to sail all day autonomy.
Ocean Life has capacity for 6 people and does not use normal fuel, the route is silent, allowing passengers to make the most of natural resources with the advantage of not disturbing the fauna and flora or pollute the environment.
Projeto
Made of glass fiber has a length of 680cm 2000w solar panels wind power 800 w, 1100 amps of batteries gel, 3 electric motors Minn Kota, control by steering wheel or the remote control or manual gps and diving equipment for up to 6 people.
The engineering project was received at the port maritime institute is approved by posteramente DGRM in 2013.
The vessel is complete in terms of hull structure, paint, batteries, motor and safety equipment, missing some equipment that are particularly expensive solar panels and the trailer transportation.
The aim of this project is to explore nature without harming the environment and the species that inhabit it intend to do expeditions, spread the use of renewable energy and the protection of nature.
With this boat you can dive, take a ride to enjoy nature without harming the environment because it does not emit noise of engines do not emit any gases or oils to the waters, and does not bother the wildlife or sea or river flora so the traveler can enjoy a more genuine contact with nature and the species that inhabit it.
