Born in Portimão, at age 8 he moved to São Paulo in Brazil where he studied and began his professional career in information technology. In 1991 he returned to Portugal where he currently lives.
Interest in wildlife and sea began during the childhood because lived near the sea. As a teenager he won the fascination for photography still with analog machines.
In 2004 he joined the hobbies of photography and diving with an analog machine acquired in second hand.
In 2005 he went on to digital photography with which he deepened his photographic techniques as a self-taught and participated in some photography workshops, assisted by professional training in the computer area developed the editing techniques.
At present he is mainly engaged in photography of nature, landscapes, wildlife and underwater life.
