The project aims to provide Hippotherapy contact between children / youth / adults with special educational needs (motor, visual, hearing, mental, etc.) and the horse is developing various learning them, with a view to personal success, school and social, through therapeutic horseback riding.

The project aims to provide Hippotherapy contact between children / youth / adults with special educational needs (motor, visual, hearing, mental, etc.) and the horse is developing various learning them, with a view to personal success, school and social, through therapeutic horseback riding.

To be able to work with these children / youth / adults is necessary to have detailed and specific material to which this serves to solicit donations to provide the purchase thereof, such as: a blanket tipping supported removable front legs and pommel removable rear (this saddle has a cost of about two hundred ninety-five euros, an cilhão tipping with a central ring (approximate cost one hundred and eighty-three euros), and other material.

For this project to succeed we need the support of about 50 supporters!

About the author

The team that develops the work of the Meadow Farm consists of the following elements :
 
- A therapist licensed by the College of Human Kinetics in Psychomotor Rehabilitation , Carrier Travel Assistant Therapeutic Riding and Superior Technical Riding Therapy ;
- The person responsible for the premises of the Lowland Farm , Mário Rui Silva Bernardo Bonifacio , bearer of Professional Training Course , Assistant Supervisor of horse and guide the progress of the horse.

To this team still added as collaborators in this project:
 
- A teacher of Basic Education Variant of Physical Education , specializing in Special Education in the Cognitive Domain and Motor Carrier Course Professional Training and Therapeutic Riding Assistant Project Coordinator ;
- A teacher of Basic Education in Special Education Specializing in Motor and Cognitive Domain and direction of Assistant Schools Group Lourinhã .

The four elements have in common a taste for teaching children with special needs and horses .

Budget and due dates

Para trabalhar com estas crianças/jovens/adultos é necessário material específico, como por exemplo: uma manta de volteio com apoio de pernas dianteiras amovíveis e arção traseiro amovível (esta sela tem um custo aproximadamente de duzentos e noventa e cinco euros ; um cilhão de volteio com uma argola central (custo aproximado de cento e oitenta e três euros), entre outro material, que se encontra em anexo. A totalidade do montante abarca a quantia de setecentos euros. Necessitamos de um total de 60 dias como tempo limite para angariação do financiamento ao pedido solicitado.
