"Chapter Two" by Neil Simon

"Chapter Two" by Neil Simon, Portuguese translation by Salvador Sobral and Matilde Breyner, direction by Nadia Santos and interpretations by André Nunes, Leonor Seixas, Matilde Breyner, Salvador Sobral, which will premiere in September this year.

The show has its premiere on September 7, 2017, at the Auditório do Casino Estoril, in Estoril, until 1 October.

After the 4-week career at Estoril, the show, "Chapter Two", will tour the country.

"Chapter Two" is a hilarious comedy by the famous playwright Neil Simon in which the fortunes and misadventures of the late widower George Schneider are uncovered by retaking, through the instincts of his younger brother, the unexpected journey of lovemaking. Until Leo remembers presenting Jennie Mallone to his brother, a near-perfect woman. But this trip to happiness is far from peaceful for these two, already young, lovers ... George and Jennie will stumble several times in their traumas and emotional needs until they find what they are looking for. Everything becomes even more hilarious when Leo becomes involved with Faye, Jennie's neurotic friend. Until Leo remembers presenting Jennie Mallone to her brother, a near-perfect woman. But this trip to happiness is far from peaceful for these two, already young, lovers ... George and Jennie will stumble several times in their traumas and emotional needs until they find what they are looking for. Everything becomes even more hilarious when Leo becomes involved with Faye, Jennie's neurotic friend.

The artistic team of this show is composed by Nádia Santos in the direction of André Nunes, Leonor Seixas, Matilde Breyner and Salvador Sobral [it's better not to put the link to this actor so as not to create confusion ;-)].

Budget and due dates

We used the PPL and a crowdfunding campaign for two reasons: firstly, because as contributions they can be from 1.00 €, anonymously or not; Second, why a Buzico! Produções Artísticas is a structure without any type of public or private financial support and how to please: give stage to the passions of artists, we do not want to defraud like expectations of those who trust our projects.

Get your € 15,000 objective, this amount will be used to support the payment of the following items: copyrights, direction, translation, actors' rehearsals, lighting design, set design, music, graphic design and promotional materials (brochures, posters - MUPIs, A3 - and room sheet), age rating, representation licenses and promotion campaigns (social networks and media).
