Photography Exhibition - EXD Biennale 2015 | Tangents
In Transit is an approach to our routines, to the spaces that occupy our daily journeys, the non-places we inhabit in transition. Spaces devoid of identity and social interactions by a mismatch in human relationships. Those faceless directions in the everyday life of a global society, increasingly detached from a sense of roots and belonging, are what the work intends to explore, an account of a world that ceased to live for their inhabitants to dwell in those who live in it.
Understanding photography as an art capable of expressing concepts and making us think about the future, and it's undeniable role as a tool and product of artistic creation, In Transit is an incisive portrait of human interactions, wrapped in a "solitary contractually", moving through areas designed to be public/collective spaces.
