"Seeds of the Future – Leiria Educational Farm"

🎯 1. OBJECTIVE
Raising funds for the recovery and development of the Quinta Pedagógica da Associação Potencial Humano – AJPH (ATEMPHAR), in Andrinos (Leiria), affected by Cyclone Kristin.

The project aims to create a space for environmental education, social inclusion, sustainable agriculture, and intergenerational learning.

€135,000 (VAT included)

It is intended for:

  • recovery of damaged infrastructure
  • reconstruction of walls, gates and fences
  • agricultural restoration and trees
  • creation of educational and community spaces

🏗️ Facilities: canteen/workshops, agricultural kitchen, restrooms, dormitory, dome

📅 4. SCHEDULING (12 MONTHS)
🟢 0–3 months: cleaning, urgent repairs, security
🟡 3–8 months: construction of main spaces
🔵 8–12 months: outdoor areas, dome, and digital systems

Andrinos – Pousos – Leiria
Area: ~3,860 m²
Land with existing structures, ceded free of charge for community purposes.

⚖️ 6. LEGITIMACY
Land ceded by the owner Valdemar Guarda Duque through a loan agreement.
Use approved in the minutes of the association's board meeting.

🌿 Who we are
The Potencial Humano Association – AJPH (ATEMPHAR) is a non-profit youth association, based in Leiria and registered in the National Register of Youth Associations.

Since 2017, she has been developing ongoing work in promoting human development, education, preventive health, and community participation.

Over the years, the association has carried out more than 1000 activities, including workshops, lectures, events and intergenerational initiatives, involving children, young people, families, schools and seniors.

🟡 PHASE 2 — BASIC INFRASTRUCTURE (Months 3–6)

  • Construction of the agricultural kitchen and toilet.
  • Canteen/workshop space setup
  • Beginning of the fruit tree zone

  • Main electrical and plumbing installations

🔵 PHASE 3 — EDUCATIONAL EXPANSION (Months 6–9)
