Ingrid Christ - The Creativity Behind the Za(m)bú Project
At 54 years old and a mother of six, unemploeyed recently, I have an unwavering passion for home cooking. I am currently in the process of professional reconversion, dedicating myself to the development of Za(m)bú Culinária in Azeitão, Setúbal, Portugal. This innovative project combines tradition and modernity, with the taste of grandma's cooking.
Professional and Creative Experience.
I have a varied career, having worked in customer service, technical support and project management. However, it is my passion for creative entrepreneurship that stands out. Between the ages of 27 and 39, I was a florist in Brussels, where I developed original and innovative concepts.
Bosquet Fleurs & Chocolat : A unique concept that combined the beauty of flowers with the indulgence of chocolate, offering floral arrangements accompanied by artisanal chocolates.
Poppymood : Launched the concept of "Flower Cookie Boxes", which hid a trompe l'oeil flower garden inside, covered with images created by me.
Holder of a Master's degree in Business Administration, I continue to evolve and seek new opportunities to apply my creativity and entrepreneurial skills.
Family Life
Not only do I successfully manage my various professional endeavors, but I am also a devoted mother of six children, four of whom are still minors, aged between 9 and 17 and living with me (and my new Portuguese husband 🥰 father of the youngest 🌼). My ability to balance family life with my career is a true inspiration. My family is also a life project!
Love for Portugal and its cuisine...
Since I was 24, I had a dream: to settle in Portugal. I fell in love with the language, culture, gastronomy and landscapes of this enchanting country. Today, I have been living in Portugal for 10 years, fulfilling this dream with joy and dedication. I believe that sitting at the table to share a meal is a moment of pleasure and conviviality that should be enjoyed. The worst that could happen would be a pea fight 🫛
With this unique combination of experience, passion and innovation, I am ready to transform Za(m)bú Culinária into a reference point for lovers of good food and socializing. 😊
