600 years later the evocations and meanings of the "conquest of Ceuta" by the Portuguese are multiple. Six authors return to Ceuta with stories, memories and glimpses of the future. 600 years later humanity seems to live the same paths of war and intolerance. Six centuries later it is urgent to "reconquer" the possibility of peace.
"Taking of Ceuta, Reconquest of Peace" gathers stories of Ana Pombo, Helena Nogueira, João Barroso, Miguel Raimundo and Renato Martins, as well as poem of Nuno Vicente and preface of Samuel Pimenta.
NOTE: The book has the value of 13€ during crowdfunding campaign and 15€ after closing the same.

About the author
Ana Pombo
She was born in 1992 in Santarém. Master in Communication and Journalism from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra, with knowledge in Digital Marketing. Worked as a trainee journalist in the Diário de Notícias and Rádio e Televisão Portuguesa. Collaborated as a communication technique in the European Anti-Poverty Network and in the Summer In.Santarém project promoted by the Santarém City Council. Actress and member of the Direction of the Veto Theater Workshop at the Scalabitano Cultural Circle.
Helena Nogueira
She was born in 1977 in Santarém. He attended the Course of Arts of the Secondary School Dr. º Ginestal Machado but ended up going through the letters graduating in Philosophy.
The passage through the Azores, at the beginning of her academic career, endowed her with an insular sensibility, a constant feature of her literary production, in a short and dense writing, welcoming aspects visible only in the light of drowsiness and torpor.
Interested in different artistic expressions, she found in the text of the work: she made her debut in poetry, was awarded the essay, but it is mainly in fiction that seeks characters with a sense of a unrepeatable world.
João Barroso
He was born in Santarém in November 1983. His academic career took him away from the literary arts and took him to the path of Health Sciences. He entered the course of Dental Medicine in 2002 and in Physiotherapy in 2013. Despite this, he has never given up writing and has collaborated with professionals from various fields. It is one of the elements of Demon Cleaners, author program of Super FM radio, on air since April 2014.
Miguel Raimundo
He was born near the Christmas of 1980. He made his debut in the story, in the extinct publication Agora or Nunca - Revista Galega & Portuguesa de Literatura, as well as in RELER - Student's Magazine of the Faculty of Letters (Coimbra). Keep the poetry blog. "Libertarian Gospels" (www.evangelhos.blogspot.com) since August 2006. Organized and participated in the book of tales Four Seasons Crossed Paths (2012) with Sílvia Ribeiro, Helena Nogueira and Pedro Nunes. Miguel, Helena and Pedro were joined in a new adventure by Samuel Pimenta and Valentina da Silva Ferreira in the book Abril after Abril, published by Livros de Ontem, 40 after the revolution of 1974. It was part of the anthology Insonho - Sleep well organized by Valentina da Silva Ferreira. Miguel Raimundo is the literary name of José Raimundo Noras researcher and natural teacher of Santarém, author of the chronicle book The Vice of Men (Livros de Ontem, 2015).
Renato Martins
He was born in 1980 in Coimbra. Researcher at the Philosophy Center of the University of Lisbon. Secondary teacher. It has stimulated public discussion meetings covering contemporary themes of Philosophy such as image, artificial intelligence or the internet. Member of the AutoFocus Group at the University of Porto. Member of the Community of Readers of Figueira da Foz.
Nuno Vicente
He was born in Lisbon, on December 28, 1986. He holds a degree in Political Science from ISCTE-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. In 2014 he edited the book "I am happy in my own way", a book of Poetry.
