Livros de Ontem is pleased to present you the third book by Ana Costa, "It's always early on what is a deserted street."

With "It's always early on what's in a deserted street," the author finally embraces the best and worst of the past and the world, an adaptation essential to the survival found in any member of the human species.

Without being too cynical to stop marveling, not even innocent enough to close her eyes to the darkness (always at the corner of any thought), Ana Costa closes a cycle started with "Misanthropic Clarity" and "Renascer Half" in the transition.

They are signs of this kind of farewell naked of heartache or exaggeration of simple verses and an attempt of language more clear, light and rational, as a reflection of the personal path of who created them.

About the author

Born in Porto, she graduated in Information Science at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. He previously wrote the books of poetry "Misanthropic Enlightenment" (2014, Books of Yesterday) and "Renascer Half" (2016, Books of Yesterday); She is also the author of one of the photographs included in the collection "Penélope" (2014, Books of Yesterday and The Art Boulevard) and one of the short stories in the collection "Mens Sana" (2015, Books of Yesterday and S. João de Deus Foundation). ... time is vague in a nihilistic world.
