Solidarity event to support HDES in S. Miguel and HSEIT on Terceira Island to combat COVID-19. In this period of confinement and isolation, it is essential to encourage the practice of healthy living and a spirit of solidarity.
PURPOSE
The goal is for each athlete to do an activity or as many kms as possible for 2 hours, in a space confined to their residence / home on April 25, 2020.
DISTANCE, ROUTE AND ACTIVITY
There will be a common goal for all athletes, which will be the fact that each one meets the maximum number of kilometers or exercises during the hourly barrier of the race within the possibilities / levels of each one.
The route / location for the practice will be the responsibility of each athlete, indoors (garage, garden, terrace, balcony, etc.) and respecting the rules recommended by the General Health Directorate.
Each participant can perform the kilometers of his activity as follows:
- Walking;
- Cycling;
- Running;
- Swimming;
- Rowing;
- Pedaling;
- To “climb” stairs in your building;
- Tabatas;
- Zumba class;
- Yoga;
- Beep test is also an excellent option, etc., etc.
Be creative. The use of treadmills, bicycles, ellipticals, paddles and rugs is allowed to carry out the activity, we want you to be creative, but in safety.
