In Beirã, a small parish in the municipality of Marvão, there hasn’t been a grocery store or food shop for years. VouàVenda was born to fill this essential gap with a proposal rooted in community, sustainability, and local products.
We want to transform the former offices of the deactivated Marvão-Beirã train station into a neighborhood grocery store, offering artisanal goods, mostly organic, sourced from local producers. But VouàVenda will be more than just a shop – it will also be a welcoming space for informal gatherings, where people can share a cup of tea, a conversation, or an idea.
With your help, we will equip and adapt the space, purchase our first stock of products, and launch a new community network. This campaign is the first step in bringing back to Beirã what should never have disappeared: a place where we can shop consciously – and meet one another.
