We will offer a trumpet to our longtime musician - Alberto Sousa, who unfortunately had his trumpet stolen.
At the age of 11, Alberto Sousa joined our band, Banda Filarmónica da Ericeira, and since that age he developed a great passion for music and the trumpet, the instrument he plays. Over these 35 years, he created many memories, made friends and participated in many important and special moments of our Association and Band.
One of those special moments in which we could count on Alberto's presence was on December 1, 2022, at the IX National Philharmonic Band Parade, but unfortunately, after his participation in this service, he had his trumpet stolen, in Lisbon .
We know the value and importance that this trumpet had for him, not only on a sentimental level because it was given to him by someone rather dear, but also because it has many years and history on his hands and in our band, he has accompanied us for 28 years.
Derived from all this, we decided as an association to try to help in the best way and thus try to raise enough money to be able to offer him a trumpet, so that all this passion is not lost and so that he can continue to create history in this field, doing one of the things he likes best.
We know that we are going through difficult times, but we appeal for everyone's help so that we can achieve this goal.
