CNLA seeks to develop a social cohesion and a responsible statement of citizenship in our youth population, by the sport´s and recreational practice, using the natural resources of the region.
At the moment, we have 38 athletes (20 between 6 and 12 years old and 18 athletes with more than 12 years of age) that practice weekly with our club.
Despite our young age as an Association, the staffs, composed by 3 members with College Degrees in Sports, coaches and athletes, have an immense experience with the sport.
We developed several protocols with Vila Nova de Milfontes School´s Grouping that establishes a contact with Canoeing to all students of the third and fourth year, and also with Special Needs Education students from the School´s Grouping.
CNLA has the following goals for the 2015 season:

Enhance and establish Canoeing has a premium sport in the Coastland;

Ensure proper facilities, equipment and transport;

Set up protocols with coastland Education Institutes has well has the local political office;

Focus wage on Competition level to promote visibility and encourage the structure of the learning groups;

Create a portfolio of sponsors and other back-ups to guarantee the club development;

Increase the number of athletes of CNLA
