Hello everybody,

My name is Maria, I am a single mother of a 4-year-old boy and I live in the Algarve, Portugal. My life has been a journey of challenges and achievements, but also a struggle against the lack of support.

For many years, I lived in a marriage marked by domestic violence, in which I lost a son. At the time, when I tried to escape that situation, I found all the doors closed. Without family or social support, I had to rebuild my life alone.

Today, I have a real reason to live: my son, a true miracle who has brought me hope and joy. However, the lack of support continues to be a huge burden, and that is what has led me to the current situation.

I currently owe €3,100 in rent and my landlord wants me to leave the property because I don't have a lease. I'm a seamstress and maker of bags and women's accessories, but unfortunately I'm unemployed. The fear of losing the roof over our heads is real and urgent.

This campaign is a call for help, but also a social alert. How many people like me face invisible difficulties, without the necessary support to start over?

My name is Maria, I am a single mother and craftswoman, living in the Algarve, Portugal. Sewing and crafts have always been my passion, and I dedicate myself to creating women's bags and accessories. I am a resilient woman, who has gone through many difficulties, but who has never stopped fighting.

My journey has been marked by challenges, including a history of domestic violence and the loss of a child. I was forced to start over from scratch, with no family support or support network. Despite the difficulties, my 4-year-old son has given me a new reason to move forward, bringing me joy and strength to keep going.

Unfortunately, life has presented me with yet another major obstacle: a lack of financial stability, which has led me to a delicate situation. With this campaign, I seek an opportunity to get back on my feet, secure a safe home for my son and, above all, continue doing what I love.

Once the campaign amount is reached, I intend to settle the rent debt immediately and negotiate an agreement with the landlord.

Later, I will take care of basic expenses to stabilize our situation.
