Someone unforgettable for his cheerful spirit and the way he always lit up any place he went. Always in a good mood, he is one of those friends who never lets anyone down, ready to listen, help or laugh out loud. With a huge, generous and open heart, he overflows with kindness in every gesture. Those who know him know that they can count on him, because his availability is as natural as the air he breathes.

A tireless worker, he dedicated himself with commitment to everything he did, earning the respect and admiration of everyone around him. He is recognized not only as a person, but for the example he always set, a man of values, humble and honest. In his free time, he found his peace and passions in his family and friends, and hunting was a refuge where he connected with nature and himself.

Now imagine the world of a man who lived a life full of love and laughter, reduced to the silence of pain and immobility. Luis, a father with a huge heart and grandfather of four granddaughters who love his games, suffered a devastating accident that left him with a serious spinal injury. Today, he is quadriplegic, facing days that seem endless, far from the games and hugs that have always defined who he is.

Married to Teresa, Luís has always been the pillar of his family. But now, more than ever, he needs us. The medical expenses, rehabilitation treatments and adaptations required to his new reality are substantial, not only financially, but also emotionally and physically – all of this now weighs heavily on Teresa's shoulders, who, despite all her strength, cannot carry this burden alone.

So we appeal to your heart and your generosity. Together, we can give Luís back some of the joy he always brought to the world. Each contribution is a step towards recovery, hope and a future where he can hug his granddaughters again, tell stories to their curious ears and share another smile with Teresa.

The outpouring of friendship and solidarity that has formed around Luís has been admirable. The tireless support of his vast network of friends shows the great impact he has had on the lives of so many. Our deepest gratitude to all for their generosity and support.

Hello, my name is Sabino, and I am Teresa's brother.

Together with our family, a group of friends and the support of Dr. Nuno Abreu, we decided to create this campaign to help cover the enormous expenses that Luís and Teresa are facing as they adapt to a new reality.

Our commitment is to provide Luís with the best possible conditions for his recovery. This includes home renovations, the acquisition of specific equipment and solutions that guarantee his mobility and comfort.

With a lot of motivation and hope, we believe that, together, we can make a difference.
