The Book of Oncology Nutrition “Receitas deliciosas para doentes oncológicos em tratamento”, composed with 87 recipes from 15 prestigious cooking Chefs, aims to raise awareness of the specifications of nutrition in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy treatment.
Attitude, IPSS (), with the High Patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic, and with the support of the Portuguese League Against Cancer and the Portuguese Society of Oncology, published a book on Oncology Nutrition. The book aims to raise public awareness to the specifications of nutrition in cancer patients (especially those on chemotherapy), providing 87 recipes of 15 prestigious Chefs, considering the speific nutritional needs of these patients. In addition to the recipes, the book also includes a chapter with specific recommendations on the oncology nutrition authored by Dr. Carlos Carvalho (oncologist) and Dr. Rita Lopes (nutritionist).
All donations and contributions to this project will directly support:
• Construction of an online platform about Oncology Nutrition; and
• Development of Training courses and workshops for professionals, caregivers and cancer patients.

About the author
Bibi Sattar Marques (Project Coordinator)
Degree in Economics and Master in Finance, both from the Portuguese Catholic University, began her career in 2003 at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Financial Audit. Five years later, in 2008, she embraced a new professional challenge in Anacom, working in the Department of Market Regulation. In 2011, she added to her academic curriculum a pos-graduation in Political Science and International Relations of the Institute of Political Studies of the Portuguese Catholic University. Always accompanied her educational and professional life with social projects and volunteer work, that is why in 2014 founded aTTitude, IPSS, being the CEO.
Francisco Marques (Project Coordinator)
Degree in Economics from the Portuguese Catholic University, majoring in Marketing from Columbia University, began his career in the Sonae Group. Later, he embraced a new professional challenge in Wurth as Head of Marketing - Retail Shops industry and decided in 2015 to change the course of his career, founding his own company Bignew Commerce and Management, SA, which currently holds the D & D - Arte de Degustar. At the same time, he is also a founding member of aTTitude, IPSS, part of the governing bodies, being the President of the General Assembly.
Budget and due dates
Main expenses: 15,000€, which is equivalent to the construction of an online platform (launch scheduled in October 2016) + 20 training courses in oncology Nutrition (start expected in October 2016).
(In 15,000€ already included around 922€ PPL commissions if 15,000€ is the raised value).
