Support for Therapies for Children with Special Needs and Economic Needs

Enable children with special needs and proven economic need to attend therapies necessary for their development, during a calendar year, at the Centro de Terapias Infantil Desenvolve-T.

This campaign aims to financially support children and families with economic difficulties who are unable to pay for the essential therapies for their development and well-being, namely in the areas of speech therapy, psychology, psychomotricity, occupational therapy and physical therapy.

Currently, given the economic situation experienced at national level, families are faced with difficult decisions in their family and financial management, which is why therapies that, although essential, remain in the background, compromising the continuity of work or even the evolution of their children with special needs, putting their development at risk.

It is of utmost importance to respond and support these families, it is on the basis of this objective that this campaign is taking place.

It is within the reach of each of us to be able to provide equality and better development for some children and families. Support this project and you will be able to monitor its impact on the lives of some. kids.

About the author

Desenvolve-T is a development and intervention center for children and young people with intellectual, developmental and learning difficulties, with the aim of responding to the therapeutic needs of each child and family.

Budget and due dates

The regularity of the sessions must be defined based on the therapeutic intervention process, their values are previously established according to those practiced by the Center. In particular:

4 sessions / month corresponds to € 32.50 / session

5 to 8 sessions € 31.25 / session.

Corresponding to 12 months of sessions (one civil year) and idealizing this support for at least two children in the contextualized situation, a total amount of € 3,450 is required.
