Associação Os Rodinhas de Portugal will carry out the III Adapted Tour with Batec on 08-18-2018.
The course to be undertaken will start with the Council of Freguesia de Ceira, in Coimbra, and will go to the Motard de Gois Concentration.
As we all moved in a wheelchair, and loved to live life intensely, we had to find a way to give more adrenaline to our way of life, that's when Batec came up. Batec is a push-pull system that provides a 2-in-1 approach to our needs: a unique and revolutionary solution for the outdoor mobility it provides.
With the success of the first two editions, ARP leva organizes in 2019 the III ADAPTED RIDE WITH BATEC also with an awareness component.
As the destination will be the Motard de Gois Concentration, an awareness campaign will be carried out in the prevention of road accidents. For the campaign to be a success, flayes will be distributed with testimonies of people with disabilities who suffered motorcycle accidents. For the realization of the flayers, the GNR was invited to provide information about what not to do, and the correct attitude when driving a motorcycle.
As the number of participants grows, so does the expense of a safe and responsible organization.
Among the expenses we highlight the compulsory licenses by law, insurance, solid and liquid supplies, logistics, lunch to all participants and the return operation of all participants by bus.
