Barriguda Portuguesa is a project aimed at the production of craft beer, whose pillars are based on the production of high quality beer with excellent raw materials, giving preference to nationally produced raw materials, thus creating guaranteed quality products, aiming at satisfaction customers.

This project is practically concluded in terms of installations and equipment, with the extension of the supply of electricity to the installations missing and the commercialization license, called zero licensing and some small equipment.

The paunchy Portuguese will be the commercial name of the beer and will be produced in six recipes. Seasonally, new recipes can be created, always trying to innovate, ensuring total consumer satisfaction.

The beers that were produced in tests and will be marketed, are as follows:

The beers to be produced will be beers from the English school and the American beer school, produced by hand using the best raw materials and without chemical additives.

The beginning of this project started in December 2019 with the start of the works aiming to adapt the facilities to the beer production, works that ended in February 2020.

The equipment coming from Italy was delayed in delivery due to the pandemic that affected Europe and, in particular, Italy, which led to the stop of the project, the costs of renting the premises and expenses with personnel assigned to the company and costs with the office. accounting contracted to proceed to the company's accounting, this continued, which led to a budgetary overrun of the project since the start of production was due to start in March, was canceled because of the crisis in the hotel industry, namely bars, as they were closed during months, which led the promoter of this project to suffer from a financial weakness, thus asking for your support in order to give impetus to the start of the work of Barriguda Portuguesa.

The basic equipment, namely the mash and wort boiling pot, pneumatic encapsulating machine, six 200-liter fermenters, bottling machine, hot water pot, cold colling system for fermenters, pumps are already in our facilities. delivery, labeling machine and hoses.

About the author

The Portuguese potbellied is a project by Daniel Justino, 29 years old, who is an aficionado of craft beer having formed the Bohemian State firm that will produce beers under the Barriguda Portuguesa brand, a brand already patented with the Portuguese Industrial Property Institute. The production and elaboration of beers will have the technical support of Jaccs Silva, a person experienced in the field of beer production and elaboration, having already made some samples for Barriguda Portuguesa.

Budget and due dates

The present crowdfunding aims to request financial support for the final phase with the purchase of the remaining equipment and start of production

Electric branch to the Barriguda Portuguesa facilities and respective energy certification of the brewery's electrical installation, cost eight hundred and fifty euros - 850 euros

Central temperature control for six fermenters - 350 euros

Cooling chest for hops and yeast storage - 300 euros

Laboratory supplies and tests - 280 euros

Stainless steel table - 400 euros

Compressor 50 liters - 160 euros

If the amount to be requested is exceeded, the amount will be invested in a bottling system for Barriguda Portuguesa, which will lead to the presence of the barrel version of Cerveja Barriguda in the market.

The rewards will be executed within a maximum period of eight months, after the start of the brewery's operation.
