Book - Biographical Novel, António Barreiros

I intend to obtain funding to be able to edit and publish the book I have proposed, a biographical novel, to be presented on November 16th in Coimbra.

This work aims to be a repository of the author's full life. Nights spent with plainclothes police officers, trips with firefighters to incidents. A life spent between Coimbra and Mozambique, with work and leisure trips to many parts of the world. A journalism practiced in the editorial offices of Correio de Coimbra, O Primerio de Janeiro, Rádio Renascença, RDP/Centro-Antena 1, "4"/TVI and, more recently, on Famalicão Canal TV.

I will publicize the work through media communication channels, as well as among a large group of friends.

For every €15 you will receive 1 signed copy.

If you finance with €40 you will be entitled to 3 signed books

If you help with €55 I will send 5 signed copies.

Note: I will deliver each copy at the book presentation session.

About the author

I am António Barreiros, and I have worked and served as a journalist for 34 years. I have "stories" for the history of Coimbra, the region and the country. Urbano Duarte, Miguel Torga, Mother Teresa, as well as colleagues in the profession, as well as humble people, are part of these pieces of my experiences. I do not want the land to take away, forever, these "stories" that deserve not to be forgotten.

As I turn 70, looking back, I assess a full life, in which human faces stand out. A journey of examining facts and also of looking at others.
