Buy in advance vol. 5 d'A Morte do Artista and help us to maintain this independent project that presents itself as a declaration of love for literature and the arts. All issues publish unpublished texts by Portuguese and foreign authors, accompanied by works by visual artists.

Volume 5 is dedicated to the theme "Acelerar em contramão", having José Eduardo Agualusa as 'consecrated artist'. In addition to original fiction, poetry or essay texts by Amosse Mucavele, Carolina Furtado Freitas, Cláudia Clemente, Dorit Zilberman, Fernanda Cunha, Filomena Marona Beja, Gaëlle Istanbul, João Eduardo Ferreira, João Vieira, Joel Neto, Luca Argel, Manuel Halpern, Paola D'Agostino, Paulo Kellerman, Pires Laranjeira, Ricardo Tiago Moura and Vítor Encarnação. Remember that in previous editions Mário de Carvalho, Gonçalo M. Tavares, Lídia Jorge and Adriana Calcanhotto were consecrated. About the author

A Morte do Artista is a non-profit Cultural Association directed by Fernanda Cunha, João Eduardo Ferreira, Manuel Halpern and Paulo Romão Brás.

So far, four volumes of the magazine A Morte do Artista have been released. And the books O Ciclo Curvo das Noites , by João Eduardo Ferreira and Paulo Romão Brás; and Escama, Mascara, Carapaça , by Manuel Halpern and Alexandra Ramires.

The launch of Vol 5 is scheduled for October 22, at Palácio Galveias, in Lisbon.

Budget and due dates
