LIFE

LIFE is my first book of poetry, which I want to have published with your help.

LIFE is a poetic work that contains a total of 57 poems.

This project is divided into 4 parts:
- Origin
- To Live
The Future
What will it be like?
When each section begins, the poem has the same name as that section.

The work addresses a personal and intimate sphere through human frailties, while also celebrating humanity.

The VIDA project aims for the reader to see themselves reflected in the poems; that is, there is no story, but rather poems that are like outpourings of emotion, and that people can feel and understand through each word.

This work aims to explore what has been lost: humanity.

The work in question is my first book of poetry and also the first that I want to publish with the publisher Cordel d'Prata.

For this project to be possible, I need a target of €1100 (commissions: €101.48 and net value: €998.52).

About the author

I'm Carlos Cordoeiro, 35 years old, from Porto but I live in Vila Nova de Gaia.

I completed the Artistic Production - Specialization in Ceramics course at the Soares dos Reis Art School in Porto.

Since childhood I have been interested in drawing, painting, sculpture, textiles, jewelry, photography, poetry, and other areas within the visual and performing arts.

In my free time I like to walk, visit my own city, revisit churches and monuments, I like to draw in a park or garden in the city, I like to listen to music, I like to get inspired when I go to see exhibitions that are in the city, I also like to take photographs, I like to admire everything around me which will later serve as inspiration for poems, drawings, etc.

I enjoy, in my home, designing architectural projects that improve the architecture and urban planning of cities, that is, of the country.

I admire life in its simple and pure form; I enjoy seeing the details in nature, the architecture, the movement of people, the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
