Campaign to acquire a new Command Vehicle, with improved equipment for a better response.
For 2026 , we had a clear objective:
The acquisition of a new Command Vehicle.
However, Kristin's depression completely altered that reality.
The extensive damage to our barracks forced us to redirect our priorities, jeopardizing fundamental plans for improving our operational capabilities.
Currently, we have a 28-year-old command vehicle. Over the years, this vehicle has traveled thousands of kilometers , being deployed in rural fires, both within and outside our area of operation , always serving the population. In 2025, it traveled and collaborated in the fires of Ponte da Barca, Vila Real, Covilhã, Trancoso, Pampilhosa da Serra, Piódão, Seia and many others
But the reality is clear:
- It is outdated in terms of resources and equipment;
- It has operational limitations;
- And comfort is greatly reduced , especially on long and demanding journeys.
A command vehicle is not just a car — it's the coordination center on the ground , where critical decisions are made and where every second can save lives.
Our Goal:
To raise support for the acquisition of a new Command Vehicle , capable of ensuring:
✔ Better coordination of operations
✔ Greater safety for operators
✔ Effective communication on the ground
✔ Decent conditions for those who serve
The acquisition of this new VCOT includes:
- 1 SIRESP mobile radio
- 1 SIRESP Radio - portable
- Repeater and gateway system, respective chargers and batteries;
- Installation of a "Garmin" GPS;
- 12/230v converter;

- Portable generator 1.6kva;
