The price in bookstores will be around €21, so those who support now guarantee their copy sooner, at a lower price, and help make possible a book that aims to take the Portuguese public debate to another level.

The promoter of this campaign is, above all, a reader of essays and a citizen concerned with justice, well-being, and the quality of institutions in Portugal. By launching this book through crowdfunding, he assumes half of the project's financial risk and invites readers to assume the other half, in a transparent partnership between the author and the community of supporters.

This price includes:
Book editing, final proofreading, pagination, and layout. Cover design, final artwork, and printing of 200 copies. Distribution to bookstores (via publishing partner/printer). Packaging and shipping of copies to supporters. PPL commission and payment processing costs.
Author's participation
To ensure the book's existence even if the campaign doesn't cover everything, the author commits to covering approximately 50% of the total project cost with their own resources.
Supporter participation (campaign goal)

The funds raised will be used to: Cover a portion of the publishing package (editing, layout, cover, and printing). Contribute to the shipping costs of the books to the supporters. The remainder will be funded by the author, who explicitly assumes half of the project's financial risk.
