Recreate the old art room, transforming it into an open space for reading and socializing, creating an inspiring place within the school connected to nature for reading and socializing.

“Recreating Spaces, Inspiring Readings” is a project born from the desire to transform adversity into an opportunity for growth. The old art room will give way to an open space, without walls, where the pillars and roof are maintained, creating a welcoming and protected environment in full connection with the outdoors.

This new space will be extended by a wooden deck, inviting people to linger, read, and socialize. Equipped with reading tables and a book corner run by the school library, the aim is to create an inspiring environment where students can read, share ideas, and develop a love of books in an informal and stimulating setting.

More than just renovating a physical space, this project aims to restore the school as a place for meeting, creativity, and learning, where each page read is also a step in rebuilding a stronger and more united community.

The intention is to reuse the modular structure of the old art room to create a new outdoor space for the school where it will be possible to have classes outdoors, socialize with friends, and read surrounded by nature.
