Portuguese language edition of "Three Hectares of Freedom", a classic work by Bolton Hall, pioneer of the Return to the Land Movement in the 20th century.
In this second volume of the Readiness and Survival book collection, we propose to our readers a classic by one of the pioneers of the Return to Earth movement, THREE HECTARES OF FREEDOM , written by Bolton Hall.
The Back to Earth movement argued that food sovereignty and self-sufficiency (in the sense of knowing how to build our own house, weave our clothes, repair tools, plant, create and preserve what we eat, etc.) were the only way for the FREEDOM of individuals: without a boss, without loans, without depending on the State’s charity!
This book has around 250 pages and is separated into TWENTY-EIGHT thematic chapters, some theoretical and others practical, which deal with issues of where we should buy our land, the use of vacant land in cities, what is possible to produce on one hectare, production methods, tools and equipment, greenhouses, fruits, plants with commercial value, medicinal plants, raising livestock, cleaning the land, how to build, crafts that will be useful to learn both to work the land and to obtain an extra income, how to preserve food, in short, everything we could expect from a work that wants, above all, for us to be sovereign and free individuals.
