The 2nd edition of Zambujeira Bodyboard Festival is coming, and in order to maintain, or improve, the quality of this event (free entry), we need help from the community!
Brave bodyboarders, festival-goers, and everyone else! The 2nd edition of the Zambujeira Bodyboard Festival is coming, and to ensure this day remains as memorable, if not more so, than your wedding day or the birth of your child, we need your help. We're not the finance department, but we're begging you to hand over your hard-earned cash. There's more than one good reason to let the spirit of solidarity take hold of your hearts, but one is clear: our festival, your festival, is and always will be free.
We're launching this crowdfunding campaign so that, together, we can continue to write this beautiful and still-young story of the village of Zambujeira do Mar. For those so deeply supportive, whose hearts barely fit outside, we've decided to offer a reward.

About the author
The Zambujeira do Mar Bodyboard Center is a non-profit association, founded in 2010!
Its main mission is to promote and develop bodyboarding, both in its sporting and cultural aspects! It also has a strong environmental component.
Since its creation, it has hosted a series of events, such as championships, coaching clinics, bodyboarding lessons, beach cleanups, lifeguard training, get-togethers, etc.
Our bodyboarding school is very popular with the community! And with a very affordable price, we introduce many young people to the sport every year!
At a competitive level, we have success stories, such as a national under-14 champion in 2022 (Matias Baço), and the national runner-up in the dropknee category (Matt Davies)!
Budget and due dates
To carry out this festival, NBZM relies on some institutional support, as well as some private sponsorships!
However, in order to keep the festival free for everyone, and at the same time try to raise the bar in terms of quality (infrastructure, conditions, etc.), every bit of help counts!
Since we are only a small association, we have limited funds of our own, which we have to distribute among our various areas of activity: bodyboarding school, competitions, etc.!
With that in mind, and since we created this festival for everyone, we will use this crowdfunding to try to reach 4000 euros (if we exceed that, even better), which will allow us to cover expenses associated with:
- overnight stays for bands and staff
-Food
- Security

71%...temos 11 dias para chegar aos 4000euros
Com a ajuda de todos, acabamos de chegar aos 71% do valor que nos propusemos alcançar!

Os 50% do valor..estão quase
Estamos de momento nos 40% do valor total deste crowdfunding! Quase quase...a chegar a metade dos 4000euros, quando ainda nos faltam 22 dias para o final da campanha!
Contudo, sabemos que só conseguiremos atingir o objetivo, se todos continuarem esta onda de partilhas, de modo a chegarmos ao maior número de pessoas possível!

Quase nos 1000 euros....
Obrigado a todos os que partilharam até agora! Estamos quase nos 1000 euros, mas isto representa 1/4 do que necessitamos! Vamos continuar a partilhar e re-partilhar, de modo a que daqui a um mês tenhamos atingido o nosso objetivo, ou ultrapassado!
