Who we are?
I am the founder of Working With Satya, a company that works with awareness and the evolution of human consciousness, that has been working in Ukraine for 15 years. Ukrainians, for us, are family.
When this conflict started, we received requests for help from friends, then from family members, from friends of family members, from strangers... and since that day my phone has never stopped ringing.
These people have lost their homes, their families, their jobs and many of them do not know whether they will see their children and husbands again. Men who were called to fight and defend their country. People who are witnessing their whole life's work being stolen by a raw war! All they have left is a chance for a new life!
People who don't know how to get to the border, people who managed to get out but left dreams and memories behind, others who decided to fight and need medications in the war zone... There are no rich people or poor people. There are only these requests that have been breaking our hearts daily!

What have we already achieved?
We activated all our contacts in Portugal and together we managed to:
- [x] A humanitarian caravan that is transporting people from the Ukranian borders to Portugal
- [x] Collected tons of donations of materials;
- [x] Send donations to our direct contacts in Ukraine and ensure they reach their destination.
- [x] Collect medications to send to the war zone
- [x] Partnership with other associations and institutions to work in cooperation
- [x] Send clothes and other basic need materials to 80 orphanages inside Ukraine
- [x] We have already identified more than 1000 accommodations and built a digital platform to support the reception process.
Why do we need help?
What started as a one-time distress call has turned into a cold war of requests for help for crossing the border! We are already bringing in hundreds of refugees but the number is growing at an exasperating rate every day.
We have felt that one of the biggest problems of humanitarian aid is the difficulty in making monetary donations so that we can really redirect all our expenses. That's why we've worked so far to raise donations and contact partnerships! However, demand overshadows supply and we quickly realized that even with so many donations it is impossible to help these families without having the funds to properly welcome them in Portugal.

Why do we need Help?
The requests for help keep coming and we don't want to refuse anyone which is the only help we can provide at this time. At the same time, we already have hundreds of Ukrainian families in Portugal or on the way, to whom we want to give the greatest support. We quickly realized that all the generosity we have been feeling with respect to donating goods will not be enough. It is urgent that we raise funds to provide the best possible conditions for those who are so fragile and have lost everything they had.

At Working with Satya, we always ensure transparency in all our spending. We know and have direct contact with the people at the Ukrainian borders and in the war zone to whom we are delivering aid and we can guarantee it to those in need, inside and outside Ukraine.
