Ajude-me a Ajudar: Apoio aos campos de refugiados na Grécia

The Fundraising Campaign is intended to enable my participation as a Portuguese volunteer in a volunteer action to support refugees with the organization, Medical Volunteers International eV in Tessaloniki, Greece, where there are several refugee camps in particular from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan.

For many years now I have been trying to be involved in an international mission of a direct support NGO to those who need it most and I can make a difference with my knowledge, will and work. For the time has come and I can not wait any longer, I have also long been following this sad reality of the refugees in particular in the Greek islands from Syria, Iraq, among others, entering boats through Turkey, images the reports, and with my way of seeing the world and my spirit of Volunteer and humanitarian that I am unable to be quiet to see happen and not act.

It's been over 3 years and people are still trapped in fields, almost like

Authentic prisons, without their situations being resolved, live in deplorable conditions in cold tents and wet with children, the elderly and the sick.

We all have the duty and the right to do something to help, which I consider to be a world crisis.

Many Organizations have since been around since 2015, on the ground with thousands of volunteers from various areas, trying to help and make a difference.

I just wanted to be one more and how they calculate, it's never the right time, nor the ideal time to do it so I decided it was now, I can not wait any longer.

So in February of 2019 I will start this experience for two weeks, as a lifeguard and emergency technician, in a German organization of medical care and ambulances and I hope to count on your help.

The intervention will be in the air of the medical support and first aid to the Refugees who do not have conditions and that are beyond the Fields, the homeless streets without medical support and first necessity care.

This amount requested in addition to the expenses of travel, accommodation and food for my participation in this organization, 40% of the total amount raised, will be to donate to Medical Volunteer International for the subsistence of the same and the purchase of all essential materials and goods to daily operation in the 3 localities where they are present, such as in, Lesbos, Thessaloniki and Athenas.
