She discovers that the horrors that haunt her may have much darker roots than she ever imagined. The film highlights the lasting impact that bullying and abuse can have on a person, especially when it happens during a vulnerable time in life, such as childhood or adolescence. The character Jasmin, who faces disturbing voices, is a powerful representation of how cruel words and actions can haunt someone long after the events have occurred.
