"37º03H" is a short film that intends to reflect on cinema, the immortality of the author and the aura of the artistic work.
A director and an actress go to a remote place, where there is a house that stores memories closely linked to Portuguese cinema. In this distant and mysterious place, they talk and share stories, questioning the attraction of the place while seeking inspiration for their next work.
The "37º03H" team is made up of finalist students of the Cinema Degree at the University of Beira Interior, dedicated and committed, who during these three years stood out for their work. For this last project they decided to risk and make a project more free and independent, based on texts and thoughts that question the art and the process of making a film. It is a short film with a great influence of Portuguese cinema, and if this can be considered by some as handicraft, the team wants the film to be a beautiful piece of pottery.
For the concretization of the project, the support of all those who have the possibility to do so is essential, however small it may be. Any help is precious, and thank you in advance.
